Welcome
Join Lancs SBM — free until September 2026
A professional network for Lancashire school business and operational leaders, built around collaboration, support and long-term sustainability.
Lancs SBM Hub provides a dedicated online space for School Business Managers and operational leaders across Lancashire and the wider North-West education community to connect, share knowledge and support one another throughout the year.
Founding membership is free until September 2026. After that, membership will continue at £75 per year + VAT.
Why join?
School business leadership can be complex, demanding and, at times, quite isolated. Lancs SBM Hub is designed to make it easier to stay connected with colleagues who understand the realities of the role.
The combination of conferences, events and an active online community helps members stay connected, informed and supported throughout the year.
The aim is to build on the strong professional relationships and collaborative spirit that already exist across the Lancashire SBM community.
What members can access
- A welcoming peer network of school business and operational leaders
- Discussion forums and professional networking opportunities
- Termly conferences, webinars and future events
- Resources, updates and practical operational guidance
- Direct communication and collaboration with colleagues across the region
- A stable and well-supported online community designed for the long term
Founding membership
During the launch period, membership is free until September 2026. This gives colleagues the opportunity to join, explore the Hub and help shape the future direction of the network before the standard annual membership begins.
Those joining during this period will become part of the founding membership of Lancs SBM Hub.
Built on an established platform
Lancs SBM Hub is hosted on the EducationCollective platform, which already supports established SBM communities and professional networks across the country.
This means the Hub is built on proven infrastructure, with experience behind it and a clear commitment to creating a sustainable long-term home for the Lancashire SBM community.
Who it is for
Lancs SBM is open to colleagues involved in the operational leadership of schools and trusts across all phases, including:
- School Business Managers
- CFOs and trust business leaders
- Office managers and senior administrators
- Finance, operations and support service leaders
